H07v K H07v U H07v R Flexible Pvc Insulated 1 Core Cable

H07V single-core cable which is composed of a T1R copper conductor and lead-free PVC insulation is CE certified, and has excellent electrical performance and mechanical physical properties.

Conductor

H07V-U: Solid bare copper conductor, compliant with EN 60228 cl-1 standard, providing stable current transmission, suitable for fixed wiring.

H07V-R: Stranded bare copper conductor, compliant with EN 60228 cl-2 standard, more suitable for complex wiring applications, with good tensile strength and bending performance.

H07V-K: Fine-stranded copper conductor, compliant with EN 60228 cl-5 standard. Offers higher flexibility, suitable for environments requiring greater flexibility, such as mobile electrical equipment or locations requiring a larger bending radius.

Insulation Layer

How to Choose Among These Three Subdivided Cable Types?

▷H07V-U

This is the most basic and lowest-cost option. Due to its single thick copper wire, it has strong "shaping" capabilities and is very stable when routed through straight conduits.

Recommended uses: Concealed wiring in home renovation (sockets, switches), basic building power distribution.

▷H07V-R

This is a rigid wire, an enhanced version of the H07V-U single-core cable. When the current demand is high and the wire cross-sectional area exceeds 10mm2, a single strand of copper wire has limitations. The thick copper wire needs to be divided into 7 or more strands twisted together.

In short, H07V-R retains the conductive stability of rigid wire while being slightly more flexible than the U-type.

Recommended uses: Industrial plant incoming lines, high-power distribution trunk lines, long-distance conduit laying.

▷H07V-K

This type consists of dozens or even hundreds of fine copper wires, like strands of hair, and can be easily knotted like a rope.

Key point: Very vibration-resistant. If your equipment vibrates, you must choose the K-type.

Note: The ends of flexible wires are prone to fraying. Cold-press terminals (European terminals/pin terminals) must be used during installation; they cannot be directly screwed under screws, otherwise poor contact can easily cause fires.
