Selection of medium voltage cables

1. Select according to voltage level, commonly used cable level is 3.6/6 kV, 6/10 kV, 8.7/15kV,12/20 kV,18/30 kV;26/35 kV

2. Xlpe Insulated Pvc Sheathed Non Armored Mv Cable

XLPE Insulated PVC Sheathed Non-armored MV Cable is composed of a T1R copper conductor , XLPE insulation, PVC wrapping tape Steel-tape armour and PVC sheath.

Conductor: Copper or Aluminium conductor , round standed or Shaped, Class 2 to IEC 60228

and GB/T 3956-2008.

Insulation: XLPE insulated ,Insulation thickness, material property shall be as per IEC 60502-2 and GB/T 12706.2,GB/T 12706.3.

Conductor shield: Conductor shield shall be composed of extruded semiconductive nonmetallic material, and extruded semiconductive material shall be closely bonded with insulation.

Insulation shield: Insulation shield shall be composed of non-metallic semiconductive layer and metal layer. Each insulated wire core shall be directly extruded with non-metallic semiconductive layer tightly combined with insulated wire core or peelable. Then, metal shield layer shall be overlapped outside non-metallic semiconductive layer, and the requirements of IEC 60502-2, GB/T 12706.2 and GB/T 12706.3 shall be met.

Outer sheath: PVC sheath Sheath thickness, material property shall be as per IEC 60502.2 and GB/T 12706.

Flame-retradant cable: Flame-retardant PVC outer sheath material shall be used. The flame retardant grades can be classified into three categories: Bunch A, B, and C.
