Product Description

Product Structure

Bs 6346 Power Cable

BS 6346 Power Cable is composed of a T1R copper conductor , PVC insulation, PVC bedding, Steel-weirs armour and PVC sheath.

Conductor: Solid Copper or Aluminium conductor , circular or Shaped, Class 2 to BS EN 60228.

Insulation: PVC Type GP8 as per BS 7655-1.3

Core Colour: 1 core: borwn or blue

2 cores: borwn, blue

3 cores: borwn, black, Grey

4 cores: blue, borwn, black, Grey

5 cores:green/yellow, blue, borwn, black, Grey

Above 5 coes: white cores with black number

Bedding: The bedding shall be extruded LSOH polymeric material consistent consistent with the operating temperature of the cable.

Steel-wires armour: Single core cable: aluminum wire armour

Multi core cable: steel wire armour

Outer sheath: The sheath shall be extruded PVC Type TM1 material specified in BS 7655.
