Product Structure

BS 6724 Power Cable is composed of a T1R copper conductor , XLPE insulation, PVC bedding, Steel-weirs armour and LSOH sheath.

Conductor: Solid Copper or Aluminium conductor , circular or Shaped, Class 2 to BS EN 60228.

Insulation: XLPE Type GP8 as per BS 7655-1.3

Core Colour: 1 core: borwn or blue

2 cores: borwn, blue

3 cores: borwn, black, Grey

4 cores: blue, borwn, black, Grey

5 cores:green/yellow, blue, borwn, black, Grey

Above 5 coes: white cores with black number

Bedding: The bedding shall be extruded LSOH polymeric material consistent consistent with the operating temperature of the cable.

Steel-wires armour: Single core cable: aluminum wire armour

Multi core cable: steel wire armour

Outer sheath: The sheath shall be extruded LSOH material specified in BS 7655-6.1.

Performance parameter

BS 6724 Power Cable has a rated voltage of 600/1000kV, easily alleviating the high-voltage operating requirements of vehicles. It withstood a rigorous 5-minute stress test with 3.5kV voltage without any breakdown, demonstrating stable and reliable insulation performance.


The product has a wide operating temperature range, from 0℃ to +90℃. Even in extreme high-temperature environments, it can withstand temperatures up to +250℃ under short-circuit conditions, making it suitable for various VGA applications.


It is extremely flexible, with a minimum bending radius of 12 times its outer diameter, allowing for flexible and easy wiring, regardless of installation space. Furthermore, its light emission level meets BS EN 60332-1-2 standards, its halogen-free performance is certified by IEC 60754 and EN 50267, and its smoke density meets IEC 61034 and EN 50268 requirements, maximizing its safety and environmental friendliness.
