This series of cables uses XLPE insulation produced through a physical cross-linking process, which not only possesses excellent electrical properties (temperature resistance up to 90℃, with an upper operating temperature limit 30% higher than PVC cables), but also achieves a dual breakthrough in flame retardancy and environmental friendliness through molecular structure modification. Its outer sheath is made of a specially formulated halogen-free, low-smoke polyolefin material, producing only a trace amount of white smoke during combustion, and its smoke density and light transmittance meet the highest level requirements of GB/T 17651 standard, ensuring that visibility at fire scenes remains within a safe range.

Currently, Beida's cable series has formed a complete product matrix, covering all voltage levels from 0.6/1kV to 26/35kV, and all conductor cross-sections from 1.5mm² to 1000mm². Among them, the WDZ-YJY type is suitable for dry indoor environments, while the WDZ-YJY23 type has an optimized sheath formula for humid environments, and the WDZ-YJY43 type, with its added longitudinal waterproof layer design, can meet the needs of special scenarios such as underground pipe corridors.


Product Structure

XLPE Insulated LSZH Sheathed Non-armored Power Cable is composed of a T1R copper conductor , XLPE insulation and LSOH polyolefin sheath.

Conductor: Copper or Aluminium conductor , round standed or Shaped, Class 2 to IEC 60228

and GB/T 3956-2008, For cross-section area is not more than 6mm2, a solid round

conductor may be used, Class 1 to IEC 60228 and GB/T 3956-2008.

Insulation: Insulation thickness, material property shall be as per IEC 60502 and GB/T 12706.


Core Colour: 1 core: red or yellow or green or blue or black

2 cores: red, blue or red, black

3 cores: yellow, green, red or red, yellow, blue

4 cores: yellow, green, red, blue or red, yellow, blue, black

5 cores: yellow, green, red, blue, black or red, yellow, blue, black, green

Above 5 coes: white cores with black number or the technical agreement with the client

Outer sheath: Sheath thickness, material property shall be as per IEC 60502 and GB/T 12706.

Flame-retradant cable: Flame-retardant LSOH polyolefin outer sheath material shall be used. The flame retardant grades can be classified into three categories: Bunch A, B, and C.

Fire-resistance cable: Two layer of Mica tape shall be wound around the conductor.

Performance parameter

The product has a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV. During testing, a test voltage of up to 3.5 kV was applied and maintained for 5 minutes without any breakdown, demonstrating reliable insulation performance. Regarding conductor resistance, at 20℃, its conductor resistance value strictly complies with IEC 60228 or GB/T 3956 standards, ensuring stable electrical performance.

In terms of temperature adaptability, the product exhibits excellent performance, operating stably over a wide temperature range from -5℃ to +90℃. Even under short-circuit conditions, it can withstand temperatures up to +250℃ without damage. Regarding bending performance, the product specifies a minimum bending radius of 15 times the outer diameter and a minimum static bending radius of 10 times the outer diameter, ensuring flexibility during installation and use.

Furthermore, the XLPE Insulated LSZH Sheathed Non-armored Power Cable meets high standards in flame retardancy and fire resistance. Its flame retardancy complies with IEC 60332 or GB/T 19666 standards, effectively preventing the spread of fire; its fire resistance complies with IEC 60331 or GB/T 19666 standards, ensuring it maintains certain functionality even in extreme conditions such as fires. Simultaneously, the product's pH value and conductivity strictly adhere to IEC 60754 and GB/T 19666-2019 standards, its light transmittance complies with IEC 61034 and GB/T 19666-2019 standards, and its total halogen acid gas release also complies with IEC 60754 and GB/T 19666-2019 standards, comprehensively ensuring the product's safety and environmental friendliness.
